10. The Sewage Treatment Plant and Sewage Pipelines North Industrial Zone, Qinhuangdao City
Ⅰ. Project Contents
A sewage treatment plant and its auxiliary pipelines with a total capacity of 120,000 tons/d will be constructed within Duzhuang Industrial Zone for centralized treatment of domestic sewage and industrial sewage coming from the industrial zone and Duzhuang quarter in the north of Haigang District. The estimated total investment is 36.55 million dollars, and it will be implemented in two phases. In 2010, the phase-1 will be implemented involving a capacity of 60,000 tons/d and an estimated investment of 150 million yuan, which is expected to be completed by the end of 2011; besides, two sewage pump stations and sewage pipelines of 12.6 km will be constructed in the industrial zone in the north, the estimated investment 25.5 million yuan, which is expected to be completed by the end of 2010.

This project involves a total investment of 36.55 million dollars. It will be funded by Qinhuangdao City Government or external investors.

11. The Reclaimed Water Reuse Plant, Qinhuangdao City
Ⅰ. Project Contents
Advanced treatment of the water discharged by No.1 Sewage Treatment Plant and No.4 Sewage Treatment Plant of of Qinhuangdao City will be made according to Grade-1 A standard for treatment, and the after-treatment water will be used as cooling water for the thermal power plant and Sino-Arab Chemical Fertilizer Plant and water for landscaping. In 2010, the phase-1 will be implemented involving a designed capacity of 40,000 tons/d and an estimated investment 4.39 million dollars; it is expected to be implemented in May 2010, and completed by the end of 2010.

12. The Medical Garbage Treatment Plant, Qinhuangdao City

A medical garbage treatment plant of the city will be constructed involving an estimated investment 3.65 million dollars, and a designed capacity of 10 tons/d, which is expected to be completed by the end of 2010.
