POWERCHINA's foreign aid training receives positive feedback

Members of the 2019 Argentine Training Class, who studied new energy technology at POWERCHINA Zhongnan Engineering Co Ltd in Changsha, Hunan province last year, initiated a webinar with the relevant persons in charge of the company on Oct 30.

Duan Weihua, director of the Training Center of the Ministry of Commerce, Tu Shuiping, the representative of POWERCHINA in Argentina, as well as Argentine leaders of related government departments took part in the webinar and exchanged greetings.

Participants conducted serious exchanges and discussions on training effectiveness, as well as the future training needs of the Argentine side and the direction of cooperation.

The Argentine representatives at the webinar said that the two parties can expand exchanges and cooperation in human resources training, adding that Argentina can learn from China's advanced project construction and management experience to promote bilateral development cooperation to a new level.

Members of the training class said that they want to learn more about renewable energy, environmental governance, smart grids, as well as other related information from design and construction to operation and maintenance in future trainings.

New energy is an important area of China-Argentine development cooperation, while foreign aid training is an important tool for promoting development and realizing cooperation. It is expected that under the joint guidance of the Ministry of Commerce of China and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Argentina, the cooperation between Zhongnan Engineering Co and Argentine enterprises will become closer.
