NETDA pushes for economic development

The Nantong Economic & Technological Development Area, or NETDA - located Nantong city in East China's Jiangsu province - is pushing hard for more economic development.

In a bid to optimize its business environment and the development of service enterprises, a meeting was held in Nantong's Xinkai sub-district on March 18, according to the local media.

In 2021, the NETDA specifically set up the main goals of the task -- highlighting industry benchmarking, the opening of innovation highlands and development integration -- in order to build a first-class development zone in the Yangtze River Delta region.

The NETDA has reportedly committed itself doing a great job with regard to enterprise services, supporting the development of the private economy and making the real economy stronger.

The Xinkai sub-district, located in the central area of the NETDA, is a popular area for economic development.

Jiang Xiongwei, deputy secretary of the Party working committee in Xinkai, said it boasted a large number of enterprises and entrepreneurs that had already made outstanding contributions to the overall development of the NETDA.
