NETDA holds event for foreign friends

The Nantong Economic & Technological Development Area (NETDA) -- located in Nantong, the prefecture-level city in East China's Jiangsu province – on the afternoon of Dec 31 held a foreign cultural exchange activity with some of the NETDA's friends from abroad, according to local officials.

They said the event, called "celebrating the New Year and expressing admiration of Chinese culture and the Chinese Lunar New Year",was organized by the publicity department and other departments in the NETDA. Its staff and international friends from Brazil, Japan and other countries visited the district public culture and sports center and other facilities, to learn more about the charms of Chinese traditional and modern culture and art.

The visitors from abroad said the activity further deepened their understanding of the NETDA and expressed the desire to participate in more of these kinds of activities in the future.
