The Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area (NETDA), in the city of Nantong, Jiangsu province, held a quality and equipment security meeting, the morning of May 14, with Dong Kexin, the NETDA deputy-director of administration, on hand with other officials and enterprise representatives.
Dong spoke of the achievements in quality supervision and pointed to some key problems and weaknesses, saying that they need to pay more attention to quality and credibility to assure food and drug safety and the state of special equipment, to avoid accidents.

The NETDA Free Trade Zone got the original go-ahead, on Jan 3, 2013, from the State Council, for a 5.29-sq-km area, in two parts.
