NETDA holds special conference for investment promotion

NETDA held a special conference for investment promotion on the afternoon of March 10. Qu Baoxian, Party working committee secretary of NETDA, attended the conference and made a speech. Qiang Qiang, deputy secretary of the Party working committee and director of the management council, held the conference.

Investment promotion and capital introduction conditions in the first quarter of 2013 were summarized at the conference. Investment promotion staff members were required to further increase ideological understanding, trying to make new breakthroughs in investment promotion with greater strength and more effective measures.

After listening to the section leaders’ project reports, Qu Baoxian made detailed comments on investment promotion and capital introduction in the first quarter of 2013 and put forward clear requirements. He said that investment promotion work has made steady achievements. Information sources have been expanded to Japan, Europe, America, Taiwan and Shanghai. The qualitative state of investment has significantly increased. New industries continue to grow, and project conversion rate is relatively high.

Qu Baoxian further expanded on project information to fully utilize platforms such as banks and chambers of commerce. He also reinforced industrial services and professional services in future work. He hoped investment promotion staff could promote team spirit and utilize their own specialties. Investment promotion departments should further increase investment promotion efforts to make sure working targets are strictly met.
