Huangguoshu Waterfall

Located in the Southwest of Guizhou, the Huangguoshu Scenic Spot is 128 kilometers from the provincial capital of Guiyang.Passing through the scenic spot is the Guiyang-Huangguoshu Highway, G320, the Shanghai-Kunming Expressway, along with two railway lines.

The Huangguoshu Scenic Spot is among the first national key scenic spots and the first national ‘5A’ scenic spots.

In 2005, it was listed as one of the most beautiful places in China by Chinese National Geography. The location also won accolades from the People’s Daily as one of the top 10 most satisfying scenic spots and a Top 10 favorite Chinese scenic spots among Europeans. In March 2007, it won the title of the national 5A scenic spot.

The scenic spot features the Huangguoshu Waterfall Scenic Area, as well as the Tianxingqiao, Doupotang and Dishuitan Waterfall scenic areas and the Langgong scenic area among others.

Huangguoshu Scenic Spot experiences a pleasant climate andis endowed with beautiful scenery, a graceful environment and an abundance of fresh air.

Its annual average temperature is a comfortable 16 C, with an average minimum temperature of 3 C and maximum of 28 C.
