On March 31, Jiang Xiaobing, Vice President, chief Engineer and Chief Information Officer of CGGC, went to Ecuador for inspecting Sopladora Hydropower Station, accompanied by Liu Canxue, Assistant to President of CGGC, and related officials of CGGC No.2 Company.
Jiang xiaobing and his delegates stepped into construction sites such as the project plant and the switching station to acquire detailed acknowledge of the first generator set prepared for power generation, meanwhile, they learnt sincerely about a special report on the project construction.
As pointed out by Jiang Xiaobing, Sopladora Hydropower Station regarded as the first EPC project undertaken by CGGC in South American market plays a significant role in expanding the local market and realizing progressive development of CGGC. “It is firmly required to carry steadily out all stages of preparation for electricity generation of the first unit, especially debugging tests, designs, supplies, vendors’ entry into the construction site and the coordination among all parties; it is necessary to build up confidence in fulfilling the power-generation target of this station by making joint efforts of all members in the Project Division to speed up the generation task against time. In this way, CGGC’s reputable brand image will be established in South America”, stressed Mr. Jiang.
