Nigel: Do not go to drama school. It'll ruin you.

Carmen: Well, thank you, Nigel. I'm enjoying your work too. Ah!

Bill: Carmen?

Julia: Let me help you.

Carmen: Did anybody see that?

Julia: No, you're fine.

Carmen: Okay.

Tibby: Guess what got here just before you did? (In a café) So I thought it'd be easier that way.

Lena: Wait. You told him you weren't pregnant in an e-mail?

Tibby: If I had called him or told him in person he might've thought things could just go back the way they were, but they can't.

Lena: Well, why not? I mean, if you're not pregnant, then what's the problem?

Tibby: I suck at relationships. Should've been a guy.

Lena: No, a guy wouldn't worry about sucking at relationships.

Tibby: You know what the problem is? Every time I try to get close to somebody, it's like there's something out there that just says, "Oh! Tibby's about to be happy. Better get her." I'm not really sure what to say, you know?

Lena: Well, maybe you're just scared.

Tibby: Yeah, maybe.

Lena: Hey, I should really get back.

Tibby: And leave me in the middle of my life? God. I'll have another breakdown if you stay.

Lena: Tempting. But I have an early class.

Tibby: Right-o.

Lena: Come on. I'll walk you back.
