A man and a child jump off Manhattan building

The New York Police Department says a man and a child have died after plummeting from the midtown Manhattan building, local media reported. The bodies of the 35-year-old man and the 3-year-old boy were found on the rooftops of separate buildings on 59th Street behind the South Park Tower rental apartment building from which they plummeted, media cited police.
