Foshan Station marks a milestone as it moves toward construction

The main structure of Foshan Station, a major transportation hub on the Guangzhou-Zhanjiang high-speed railway, was completed on Tuesday, after the lifting of steel structures on its northern building roof, according to China Railway Guangzhou Group.
The station along the high-speed line connecting Guangzhou, the capital of Guangdong province, and Zhanjiang, a coastal city in the province's eastern area, will help handle about 4.6 million passengers annually on its initial stage after completion.
