Promoting Women's Development: China's Remarkable Achievements

The Global Leaders' Meeting on Women in Beijing marks the 30th anniversary of the Fourth World Conference on Women in Beijing. China has made solid progress: 690 million women have achieved moderate prosperity, 8.7 million started businesses, and female life expectancy now exceeds 80. With women comprising nearly half of the sci-tech workforce and over half of university students, China continues to empower women at home and abroad—investing in global cooperation and building a better future for all.
