The 2nd World Conference on China Studies is set to kick off in Shanghai from October 13 to 15. Talking with China Daily youth channel ahead of the conference, German China studies guru Helwig Schmidt-Glintzer, professor emeritus for East Asian Literature and Culture at the University of Goettingen, said from the global prospective, everyone should study China more intensely.
