State Grid shines in Wuzhen: Green power lights up WIC Wuzhen Summit

The area of the Network Security Theme Booth of the Light of Internet Expo of the company measured 154 square meters, with the theme of "Adhering to the Lifeline of Power Grid Security and Working Together to Build a Community with a Shared Future in Cyberspace". From aspects such as building a solid foundation for network security, building a strong line of defense for network security and jointly building the dream of a network power, through forms such as on-site explanations, video animations, data demonstrations and interactive experiences, it comprehensively showed that the company has implemented the "Four Revolutions and One Cooperation" energy security new strategy, relied on digital means and independent products, continuously strengthened the construction and innovation of the management system, built a strong line of defense for power grid security, and ensured national energy security.

Since achieving 100 percent green power for holding the summit last year, this year the company actively promoted the summit organizer to purchase and apply for 510 green certificates, which is equivalent to purchasing more than 500,000 kilowatt-hours of green power, covering the whole process before, during and after the Wuzhen Summit, and can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by more than 380 tons, achieving 100 percent green power supply for the summit. During the summit, a total of 226 public charging piles and more than 1,000 private charging piles in Wuzhen town were opened to the public for sharing, forming a "5-minute charging circle", welcoming guests from all directions with convenient green travel.
