Being student in China: An amazing cultural experience

China definitely stands at the forefront of innovation and technological advancements, which is an ideal destination for anyone who is seeking a cutting-edge education.

I am currently a student at Shanghai Lixin University of Accounting and Finance (SLU), which has a history that dates back to 1928, when it was founded by Pan Xulun, a famous educator honored as the Father of Modern Accounting in China.

The name itself, Lixin, comes from a saying from the Analects of Confucius – "Without credibility, you won't have a place in the world."

I believe that Lixin is a great university that offers a range of opportunities and attracts excellent students from all around the world.

I also believe that studying in China enriches the possibilities of future employment and allows you to gain skills essential for a competitive edge in today's globalized world and makes your CV extra special.

China opens doors to boundless career prospects. I, myself, have attended many different networking and business events in Shanghai.

Another advantage is the country's global influence and the burgeoning economy that provides a place for students to engage with multinational corporations, startups and industry leaders.

As a result, I can say that studying in China offers an unparalleled blend of cultural richness, academic excellence and vast opportunities for personal and professional growth.

I studied Mandarin for two years before coming to China, but only after my arrival did I finally get the opportunity to put my knowledge into use and start using the language on a daily basis.
