State Council to oversee probe into gas spurt incident in N China

BEIJING -- The Work Safety Committee of China's State Council has decided to supervise the investigation into a gas spurt incident in the city of Ordos in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, the Ministry of Emergency Management said on Thursday.
On Sept 7, a high-pressure gas spurt occurred at a workshop of Yiding Ecological Agriculture Development Co Ltd in an industrial park in Hangjin Banner, killing 10 people and injuring three others.
