Topgolf's first pop-up store opens in Chengdu

In November 2022, the technology-enabled global sports and entertainment concept Topgolf presents a pop-up store on Chunxi Road, in the heart of Chengdu. Bringing its "Come Play Around" motto to Chengdu consumers, guests are able to engage personally with the brand and what it has to offer prior to its flagship venue opening in Spring 2023. Once opened, the Topgolf Chengdu venue will be the largest in the world – to the delight of Chinese consumers who can finally engage in meaningful ways with friends and family through sports entertainment.

When entering Topgolf's large pop-up experiential space, you'll be greeted by its iconic shield logo and will be guided on the brand history that spans over 22 years. With over 80 locations around the world, including the USA, Australia, Mexico, Dubai, Germany and Thailand, Topgolf is super excited to showcase its flagship venue in China. The 3D model of the venue takes centrestage at the pop-up, with details on its 104 open hitting bays, 10 technologic target holes, 3 restaurants and bars, kids zone and 3 function rooms beside it. The pop-up showcases what Chinese consumers can expect from a Topgolf venue - a vertical one-stop sports entertainment space that aims to create moments that matter for everyone on any occasion.

With the pop-up, Topgolf invites guests to 'Come Play Around'. Guests will be given Topgolf coins to unlock various interaction activities within the pop-up, making it enjoyable yet brand forward. From claw machines, photo-friendly installations as well as the interactive games on its patented Swing Suite technology, customers will get a taste of the Topgolf experience.

With this pop-up, Topgolf aims to introduce Chengdu customers to it's sports entertainment concept; where golf is not just a sport, but a game to be enjoyed socially with friends and family – no matter if you are a player or not. With its blend of technology, sports and entertainment, Topgolf is the perfect experience for Chinese customers.
