China has sold 1.35 million new energy vehicles through April this year, up 128.4 percent on a yearly basis, data from the China Passenger Car Association showed.
The top 10 NEV sellers have sold around 970,000 units in China during the Jan-April period, with total market share of 71.7 percent. BYD Auto topped the list by selling 387,000 units, an increase of 387.1 percent on a yearly basis, taking up 28.7 percent of the market. SAIC-GM-Wuling and Tesla China ranked second and third by delivering 133,000 and 110,000 units, respectively.
