Choi is also a member of the Standing Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.
He said the center, in partnership with the French embassy in China and the European Union National Institutes for Culture in China, will hold exhibitions, performances, dialogue activities and artist-in-residence programs.
According to Choi, the foundation has also set up a number of cultural exchange centers in countries, including France, Canada, Japan, Vietnam and Cambodia, to build mutual understanding, friendship and business.
