'Blank vote inciters',?both home and abroad,?stop your dirty hands

On Wednesday, the Independent Commission Against Corruption of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region arrested four for suspicion of curbing the election. According to reports, the four were suspected of having spread articles online, which invoked others to refuse to vote or issue blank votes in the coming election for the Legislative Council.

There are quite some such articles. Ever since the improvement of the electoral system in Hong Kong on March 31, certain Western politicians and media outlets have always been blaming it for "lack of democracy". In fact, the improvement means to better protect Hong Kong people's democratic rights by excluding the home-haters from abusing the election there, which is a common practice taken by Western administrations in their own countries. But certain Western politicians, with ulterior motives and for unspeakable reasons, claim it "deprived Hong Kong people of their democratic rights".

Certain home-haters in Hong Kong backed by Western political forces resort to the radical way of destroying the election. That's why they invoked people not to vote or issue blank votes. The editorial of the Wall Street Journal on Nov 30 is the best evidence of the fox cooperating with the wolf.

Their tricks can only cheat a few people in Hong Kong. It might be their freedom to give up their democratic rights, but to invoke others not to vote is a much bigger wrong. The law on election of Hong Kong clearly, unambiguously says that all those attempting to harassing voting will face serious penalty.

The election day will fall on Sunday. It is the time for all Hong Kong residents that love their motherland and home city to defeat the conspiracy of certain Western political forces by fully exercising their democratic rights.
