From readers: Huawei will survive and thrive

Editor's note: Starting Sept 15, non-US companies have been restricted from selling products containing US technology to China's telecom giant Huawei unless they obtain special approval from the White House, according to the latest US government restrictions. Will Huawei be able to survive in such an extremely hostile environment? China Daily readers share their opinions.

This is the darkest moment for Huawei and for Chinese national technology firms as well. Due to the restrictions imposed by the US, Huawei will no longer be able to get access to the advanced chips for smartphones, which will affect Huawei’s smartphone business greatly in the next few years. Huawei is singlehandedly standing up to the only superpower in the world. As a consumer, I will support this great company all the time by buying its smartphones, tablets, laptops, TV, you name it. Because this is the only way I can help this company.
