International Women's Day: How to celebrate?

If indeed women wish to be equal to men, they shouldn't demand or be entitled to special privileges: Dinners, gifts, doors opened, purses carried, etc. However, women are not equal to men even today. And, women have been oppressed until very recently. In some parts of the world, they still are. Women's Day is not just to revere the women in our lives who are special to us but to celebrate the accomplishments of women who contributed to society in spite of oppression.
