2015 Bohai or Bust Charity Bike Festival

Get ready to ride in the 6th annual Bohai or Bust Charity Bike Festival. The Schoolhouse is proud to announce that we'll be hosting yet another fantastic ride through the Bohai Township to help raise money for the elderly in our Small community. This year participants will still get to enjoy the same spectacular Mutianyu Great Wall backdrop that they have in years past while riding along one of our three self-guided bike trails, but we've made some changes to the event that we thought you might like. The event will now be held at The Brickyard Retreat where participants will be able to take advantage of our washroom facilities and spa before and after the ride. The post-ride festivities will include a live-band, locally grown food, a lucky draw and silent auction－some of this year's prizes will include stays at the Waldorf Astoria or the Four Seasons. If you're worried about getting yourself and your bike to and from the event don't worry we've got you covered! This year we have teamed up with Bike Beijing and we are offering transportation for you and your bike to and from The Brickyard. Also, if you don't have a bike Bike Beijing is offering rental bicycles at a discounted rate specifically for people participating in Bohai or Bust 2015.

E-scooter hutong tours

Date: April 18－10 am

Venue: The Big Smoke, Lee World Building, 57 Xingfucun Zhonglu, Beijing

Price: 450 yuan

Starting now, every weekend until mid-March we'll lead small group tours at a cool price. The Tour: After a brief training, we're off towards the hutongs (traditional Beijing alleys). We'll wind through the narrow lanes, observing old architecture and learning about Be?ing's history, while experiencing first-hand today's hutong life. We'll then head back, stopping along the way for lunch and a debriefing at a local restaurant.
