For huge fans of "Friends" only!

A group of Friends fans has got their very own Central Perk café, in Chaowai SOHO, Beijing.

Are you a huge fan of Friends? Guess how many times they’ve watched the TV show’s 10 seasons?

“A lot of people ask me the question. So many times, I can’t remember. ”

You’ll never imagine Friends is still so hot in China! The end of the show in 2004 did not cool the passion of Friends fans.

But even I didn’t believe that until I got to Friends' café. Everyone here is super fan. They make jokes about the show. They repeat the lines. They sing Smelly Cat. They can understand the simple words that only Friends fans can understand. They’ve kind of found their family!

The boss, Du Xin, who calls himself Gunther, is the one who brought Central Perk to China! He spent half a year setting up every detail of this café. He didn’t treat it as a business, but as a dream come true!

“People know that I’m just accomplishing my dream, not a business. They know how hard it is when the business just started. They want to help me because they want to help a person accomplish his goals, make his dream come true.”

The big yellow sofa is everybody's favorite. Guests sit here to take pictures and also to have a feel of that sofa.

“I feel much closer to the scenes of the show!”

That's why the coffee shop has been so hot in the two months since its opening. Everybody loves Friends. And they can feel the love filling the coffee shop.

“Because we already have the same six friends. We all know them, the personalities, the character, their lives. I think it’s a good foundation for us to know each other easily. ”

So that’s the reason it’s for huge fans of Friends only!
