It is the second day of the National Day holiday and people swarmed the streets of Beijing to enjoy the festive atmosphere.
All the floats in yesterday’s celebration are now on display in Tian'anmen Square. The square, which is the centre of the capital and was the location of both the parade and the gala, has attracted large crowds.
