Rock carvings have been discovered in Duogate cave in Habahe county, Northwest China's Xinjiang Uyghur autonomous region, reported China News Service on Friday.
Archeologists have discovered 893 carvings in about 20 sites around the county, with the earliest dating to around 10,000 years ago. These petroglyphs were created at various points in time and cover a broad range of topics, such as hunting, herding, and ritual activities, and some even resemble planes or rockets.
