A series of photos show the different but magnificent beauty of the Forbidden City, or the Place Museum in Beijing as it is soaked by recent rain. Persistent heavy rain lashed the capital causing widespread disruption on Wednesday, but it also bathed Beijing's scenic spots in a rarely seen ethereal glow.
