The Beitou Hot Springs area is located in the northern districts of Taipei, this area is popular with tourists and locals alike. Beitou can be reached by bus and on the city's expansive MRT train network. There are a wide range of bathing options here, from traditional baths to large outdoor pools to more resort-like venues that offer sleek surroundings and additional spa services. The lush surroundings and steam and sulfur clouds create a unique atmosphere.
