Expensive investment in recent years by Qinghuangdao city in China's Hebei province to upgrade its landmark beach area into a charming and ecological coastline is reaping success. Since 2012, the city has invested a total of 4.3 billion yuan to carry out a comprehensive renovation program to improve the environment of the coastal area.
