Starting in September, Hainan Airlines will have direct flights between Beijing and Chicago twice a week, every Tuesday and Sunday. From Sept 3 to Dec 31, group passengers (two-nine people) of the flight who fly first class will get a discount of 8,000 yuan off the price.

Southern Airlines offers a deal now for a winter escape to Thailand. Mid-December round-trip flights between Wuhan and Bangkok are now priced at 2,295 yuan, tax included.

If you are flying from Beijing to Los Angeles this October, Air China now offers a 2,400 yuan one-way flight. A return ticket in late November could cost 2,151 yuan if one books now.
