China South Airline now offers a year-end deal on overseas trips. There is a direct discount rate of 12 percent for flights from Guangzhou to London, Amsterdam and Paris. There is also an 8 percent discount for flights from Guangzhou to Los Angeles. Details on www.csair.com.
Air China has added more flights between Beijing and Vancouver during the holiday season. Until Jan 13, one more Airbus 330 plane will shuttle between the two countries on a daily basis.
Round-trip ticket fare starts from 3,500 yuan ($562).

Hainan Airlines offers a Christmas special for flights between Beijing and three European cities namely Brussels, Berlin and Zurich. One-way ticket starts at 1,880 yuan. Round-trip fares could be as low as 2,880 yuan.
