ISPO Shanghai unveiled in Shanghai

ISPO Shanghai, a convention on the sports industry and its consumption, kicked off on July 6 at the Shanghai New International Expo Center.

The three-day fair, with 500 sports brands from more than 20 countries, exhibits leading technologies and new trends in the industry and a wide range of sports products, including those for running, water sports and paddling.

It also includes a full showcase of the winning products from the ISPO AWARD 2016 / 2017, including those in the outdoor, action sports, health sports and Asian products categories.

In addition, a number of forums highlight the latest industry trends, on the sideline of the show. The running industry forum on July 7 will concentrate on the ecological environment, development model and the competition standardization to offer ideas to the growing industry chain.

On July 8, a 200 square-meter pool will be set in the water sports area, a testing ground for new and intriguing products introduced at the ISPO Water Sports Seminar.

According to the Mass Fitness Plan 2016-2020, the latest Five-Year Plan for the sports industry, sports consumption in China will amount to 1.5 trillion yuan by 2020.
