Internet film and television festival opens in Xiamen

The second internet film and television festival, a part of the 33rd China Film Golden Rooster Awards, opened in Siming district, Xiamen, East China's Fujian province, on Nov 28.

Outstanding internet films and dramas, young actors, and directors from the past year will be recognized online during the event after the opening ceremony.

Outstanding internet film and television creators will be invited to connect remotely and promote internet film and television works and creators. The event will be streamed live on all major video platforms at the end of December.

The festival was founded by Chuangkem, a new media group focusing on innovation and entrepreneurship, and several other media groups and data platforms. The first festival was held during the 28th China Golden Rooster & Hundred Flowers Film Festival in 2019.
