Iran delegation visits Sanmenxia for road maintenance exchanges

Four representatives from Iran's national highway transportation industry arrived in Sanmenxia on July 15 to carry out exchanges and study highway construction techniques.

The delegation paid a visit to Ruida Road Maintenance Engineering Company, Sanmenxia's leading road maintenance company, which is affiliated with the city's highway authority.

Micro-surfacing, a type of low cost and skid-resistant maintenance technology, is widely used on many highways, such as National Highways 310 and 209. At the construction site of the former, the Iran representatives carried out an in-depth discussion on its operational processes.

The Iran representatives spoke highly of the mature application of micro-surfacing construction technology and planned to make use of highway maintenance techniques, which is sure to help the development of the Iranian highway industry.
