City I will never stop loving

Every time when I tell people who are not Chinese that I come from Chengdu, most of them will feel puzzling, however they will blurt out sentences like "oh I see" when I say Chengdu—the pandas' hometown. It’s not difficult to tell that Chengdu is well known as this label. The giant panda is a bridge of friendship, tying people from the entire world.

Nevertheless, all my friends will get to know my hometown by taught "Chengdu dialect" firstly. The accent is deemed to be soft, which usually arouses their interests of people who are born here, especially girls. Thanks to the advantageous natural conditions such as the great weather, the good water quality and the Chengdu dialect, girls born here are considered as beautiful and gentle.

However, a characteristic of strong also can be found in the personality, just like the spicy food here, which is famous as well. In some extent, the food here is similar to the people's traits, hospitable and enthusiastic. Hot pot usually is another important reason people come here, along with various snacks, Chengdu is regarded as the food paradise. Especially don't underestimate the food that found in a small alley, because you will never regret to take so much time to queue. This is so-called greasy spoon, which is a peculiarity of Chengdu. People will feel sorry that their stomachs are too small to enjoy so much delicious food.

It is beyond dispute that mahjong, another name card of Chengdu, is the most favorite leisure activities for Chengdu people. People play mahjong whenever and wherever. It seems like everything will be fine, only if they are able to play mahjong.

What is more, Sichuan has numerous, fantastic scenery that we are really proud of. Tourism attractions such as Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Research Base, Jiuzhai Valley, the Dujiangyan Irrigation System, Leshan Giant Buddha and Emei Mountains are very famous, which appeal much attention from visitors. In Chengdu, plenty of cultural scenic spots are welcomed as well, for instance, Dufu Thatched Cottage Memorial, Jinsha Site Museum, Wuhou Memorial Shrine, and so forth.

Last but not the least, the life style here attracts many people to settle down in Chengdu. Descriptions of this city like slow life tempo, open-minded attitude, and leisurely status are far from enough to label it. There is a saying that Chengdu is a city you will hesitate to leave once you come. Doubted? It couldn’t be better to come here, enjoying it yourself. In a word, people come here to see the pandas, eventually they will fall in love with this city because it is Chengdu itself.
