Dressed up as Emperor Qianlong (1736-1795) of Qing Dynasty, and his concubines and servants, performers entertained visitors in Huishan ancient town of Wuxi, Jiangsu in a cultural event to mark the Lantern Festival, the 15th day of the first lunar month.
The emperor paid several visits to his favorite Jiangnan areas, the south of the lower reaches of the Yangtze River, and left large amount of poetries and calligraphy inscriptions in Wuxi.
