A total of 18 large sanitation trucks, including road sweeping vehicles and street sweepers with washers, were recently brought into use in Tianjin on August 7.

These trucks, worth over ten million yuan ($1.6 million), will be cleaning the surrounding areas of the Tianjin Meijiang Convention and Exhibition Center, the host venue of this year’s Summer Davos Forum.
According to the city’s municipal bureau of parks, 215 more sanitation vehicles worth 150 million yuan from government funds, are now available for use. Additionally, 600 heavilyy-polluting trucks will be gradually withdrawn from service.
