Jibaolan Jinyuan International Center, the first phase of Beijing Zhongguancun Internet Financial Industrial Park, opened on Dec 13, 2013.

Haidian aims to integrate the development of technology, culture and finance and, by the first half of 2013, a total of 2,095 financial institutions and branches were located in the district. Haidian's financial revenue has become a major force stimulating the economic growth of this district.

Meng Jingwei, Deputy District Mayor of Haidian, said the financial industrial park will focus on attracting Internet finance-related companies, especially those specializing in Internet finance research, development and training.

The government has also launched incentive policies concerning the first Internet financial industrial park - including pilot reforms for business registration, housing allowance, transformation and upgrading, and the construction of research institutions. In addition, a guidance fund has also been established for Internet financial investment.

Yang Jianhua, deputy director of the Administrative Committee of Zhongguancun Science Park, said that Zhongguancun will improve the financing conditions for middle and small-sized companies by developing Internet finance and nurturing financial institutions to explore a new mode for the Internet finance sector.

Li Zhigang, deputy director of the Beijing Municipal Finance Bureau, said that relevant departments should focus on meeting the needs of the real economy and the general public, while preventing the emergence of risks, such as illegal deposit taking and fundraising.

The industrial park is located at No 9 Dongran Beijie, Haidian district, and covers an area of 40,000 square meters. The center building has five floors with advanced supporting service system. Jiangchun Bank Ltd, Shanghai Guojin Leasing Ltd and Makepolo Ltd are the first companies to locate in the park.
