Guangxi’s first horticultural exposition was held on Oct. 30 in Liuzhou, according to sources with the government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in Liuzhou city.

The site of Liuzhou’s Horticultural Expo Park is located near Jiuziling of the Liudong new area in the eastern outskirts of Liuzhou city, covering an area of about 680,000 square meters. The total investment of the park was 600 million yuan.

The planning and construction of Guangxi Expo Park focused on the profound historical and national culture of Guangxi, aiming to protect national ecology and promote the development of landscape undertakings. It also adhered to co-existing principles between nature and humanity, traditional and modern, ecology and city.

The annual exposition will take turns being held in the 14 regions and cities of Guangxi.

During the exposition, six exhibitions will be held at the same time: The Exhibition of Achievements on Urban Vegetation in Guangxi; The Landscape Paintings, and Photography; Bonsai and Stones Display.

Starting Oct 30, two of the co-hosting cities will hold activities at their stands every day. Exhibitions of new automobiles, gardening mechanical equipment and agriculture products, as well as a cuisine street, will be held at Chuangye road of the Liudong new area.
