I think, like so many others here, China is far freer for the average person than I expected. Quality of life is much better than we are led to believe in the USA. The food is delicious although I didn't know what to expect before coming here. Our impression of Chinese people is that they would be very disciplined and organized. Overall, my impression of China has been good. The people have been wonderful to me. Very kind, helpful and considerate.
