Challenges lie ahead for China's new leadership

"The report concludes pragmatically the 10 years of the Chinese government's job, illustrating the efforts the government made in the process of continuing and accelerating reform and transformation of the Chinese development model, while the country is faced with a complex and difficult external environment. For example, in terms of strengthening governance and deepening reform of central and local government, the Chinese government is dedicated to increasing transparency, combating corruption and installing a system of results-based management for institutions and public servants. All the results are encouraging, and they help to stimulate more efforts and energies of the whole society."
