Come August and art and culture lovers will have a date with Yunnan Cultural Industry Expo as the culture expo will begin from Aug 7.

The four-day-long expo will be going on till August 11 at the Kunming International Convention and Exhibition Center in Kunming, the capital of Yunnan province, according to Yunnan Daily.

The theme of the exposition will be culture creating wealth and innovation for the future. According to the exposition sponsor, the exposition will have seven pavilions and an outdoor exhibition area, each covering a different theme, such as embroider, ceramics, jewelry and cultural tourism.

During the cultural exposition, a series of activities will also be held, such as the Yunnan ethnic costumes show.

The exposition is jointly organized by Yunnan Cultural Industry Office, Yunnan Culture Bureau, Yunnan Press and Publishing Bureau and Kunming city government.
