From Sept 19 to 21, Guandu Ancient Town held a series of events called "10,000 Red Lights Welcome Mid-Autumn Day," encouraging citizens to come out and enjoy food and music.

The event featured a Mid-Autumn Festival pop music show, square dance, night market and other colorful activities. Shepherd Band, Jinjia Jinsong Band, Dapo Maji Band, Sigangli Band and other local bands put on performances. Acrobatics, comedy shows allowed the public to experience a different Guandu.

To create a beautiful festival, Guandu town enhanced its lights to allow residents to appreciate the gorgeous ancient town at night. Each resident also received a free flashing pendant, creating a sea of lights.

There were also special snacks in the town's night markets. Residents had a taste of snacks in the barbecue area, boiled product area, dessert area, seafood area and bar area. People enjoyed a feast of Chinese cuisine from different parts of the country, as well as foreign foods and desserts.

The organizers invited 20 local craftspeople to create folk embroidery, face make-up, clay sculptures, wood crafts, bamboo crafts and other craft shows. There was also a lion dance, shell dance and other folk performances.
