The 2020 Tai'an Fair for Investment and Cooperation was held online in Tai'an Shandong province on Sept 5.

Taishan district signed a total of 18 projects worth 3.45 billion yuan ($5.055 million) at the conference.

The projects focus on the fields of next-generation information technology, healthcare, modern finance, and new materials and will play an important role in promoting the city’s high-quality development.

The projects include the establishment of China’s leading high precision robot industrial park as well as an intelligent manufacturing research institute.

Taishan district has been heavily focusing on attracting investment and industrial projects as of late. In 2020 alone, the city has so far brought in 33 high-end projects. It has also been working to strengthen cooperation with universities and research institutes to promote the upgrading of industries.

The district has developed a series of promising industrial clusters, focusing on intelligent manufacturing, high-end equipment, healthcare, cultural tourism and distinctive agriculture.
