Scenic spots in Tai'an will begin reopening to the public as the coronavirus epidemic shows signs of slowing down, according to officials.

Tai Yang Bu Luo, a national 4A tourist attraction, reopened on March 15. Ticket prices will be reduced to 30 yuan ($4.2) per person, as some indoor areas will remain closed temporarily. Chinese medical workers are allowed to visit for free for one year after the reopening.

As part of epidemic prevention and control efforts, visitors are required to show a "green pass" (a green QR code which allows its holders to travel across Tai'an without worrying about coronavirus-related traffic restrictions), have their temperature taken at the entrance, and wear a mask at all times.

To ensure the safety of visitors, the number of people allowed to enter the scenic area at any given time will be limited to less than 30 percent of its normal capacity.

Disinfectant will be provided to visitors, and they will also receive help applying for a "green pass". Tour guides will be available as well.

Visitors must book tickets online using their real names. They will be asked to show their QR code when booking and to present their ID before entering.
