Feicheng city is in the middle of East China's Shandong province, lying in the west of Mount Tai, with a total area of 1277.3 square kilometers and total population of 971,2 00.

Feicheng city has enjoyed a long history and brilliant culture. In Western Zhou Dynasty(11 century BC -771BC), it was called Feizi Kingdom the origin of current Feicheng city. It has been more than 2200 years since Western Han Dynasty (206BC - AD24) founded the Feicheng county. It is the hometown of numerous ancient celebrities and men of letters, including Zuo Qiuming (the Saint of History), Fan Li (a merchant talent, who spent his later years here). In modern time, the county also has the renowned revolutionary history, including famous battles of war of resistane against Japanese aggression.

The resources and products are abundant in Feicheng. The Feicheng Peach is the city's distinctive special, nominated by national government as the Hometown of Chinese Buddhistic Peach. The beautiful peach flower is a popular tourist attraction in Feicheng. The flowersrenowned as the top-grade one for view, are beautiful but not vulgar, with quietly elegant fragrance. In spring, the flowers are in full bloom while in autumn, the trees yields rich fruits emitting fragrance to the distant area.

The county is also the important energy source and building material base in Shandong province. The main resources are coal, halite, plaster stone, granite, potash feldspar, limestone with high quality and rich geothermal energy resource. The annual yield of coal is more than 6 million tons, the cement is nearly 2 million tons, the steel is 1 million tons and the total installation size of Shiheng Electricity Generation Station is 1.26 million kW.

The industries in Feicheng are complete and the open economy develops rapidly. There are more than 300 companies and groups including those directly under the central and provincial and municipal government, enterprises with foreign investment and private enterprises. Coal, electric power, metallurgy, building material, machine, chemical engineering, light and textile industry, electronic industry and food are major nine industries in Feicheng. The city has also established economic and trade cooperation relationship with more than 50 countries and regions including the US, the UK, Germany, Japan, Russia, South Korea and South-east Asia.

The construction and installation industry of Feicheng is prosperous, firstly named as the Hometown of Construction and Installation Industry by the provincial government, also as No1 of the top ten construction industry regions in Shandong province.
