Brief introduction to the project: This project covers an area of 2 square kilometers, designing capacity of coal storage of 6 million tons, 30 million tons of annual turnover. The main construction of special railway line, river shipping docks, train station area, coal storage yard area, coal selected area and comprehensive service area. After the completion, the project will become China's coal transportation juncture and the hub in Shandong Province and the largest coal storage and transportation base.

Construction conditions of the project: Dongping County has an outstanding traffic advantages: Highway No 105 and N0 220 runs through the north to south, and highway from Jinan to guangzhou, and Jinan to Xuzhou run through this area with available exits. The would-be-resumed Grande Canal from Beijing to Hangzhou will also be in the construction of Dongping shipping docks, by the Dawen River, Dongping Lake would go through to jiangsu, Zhejiang Province. South central Shanxi Province railway with great capabilities in Dongping is on the operation with the largest passenger and freight along the intermediate station. At the same time special railway line connecting the logistics zone is on the built.

Analysis of the economic benefit: After the project puts into operation, it can receive the turnovers of 20 billion yuan, and profit and tax of 2 billion yuan.

Cooperation unit of the project: Dongping Modern International Logistics Park Management Committee is government-funded units by Dongping county, which was established in October 2010, specifically responsible for the Dongping modern international logistics zone’s construction and management. The planning area would be 10 square kilometers, with a total investment of 20 billion yuan, the main construction would include central logistics area, coal logistics area, Port Dai Tungang Logistics area, and Expressway from Jinan to guangzhou export distribution logistics area. At present, the central logistics area has been formed, and the coal logistics and shipping logistics zone is in the planning.
