Mount Wutai enters mushroom season

With the approaching of autumn, Mount Wutai entered the annual mushroom season.

Mount Wutai mushrooms, also known as Tianhuacai, grow exclusively on Mount Wutai. Benefiting from the unique climate and ecological environment, Mount Wutai mushroom is well-known for its high quality and is regarded as a traditional specialty in Shanxi province. It's quite dangerous to pick mushrooms on the mountain and local farmers are often injured. Prices vary based on quality.

Since the total output is low, the mushroom is mostly consumed by local people or bought as gifts for friends and relatives.
