A tourism and investment promotion event for Jinzhong city, Shanxi province was held in Shenzhen, Guangdong province, on Oct 16, with 17 projects worth over 38 billion yuan ($5.49 billion) signed on the spot.
The import and export trade value of Shanxi province amounted to 92.05 billion yuan ($13.30 billion) between January and August, according to Taiyuan Customs.
