Canadian business partners with Pingyao

The Pingyao International Painting Communication Center will partner with the Canada-China Cooperation Association for Industrial Development, promoting Pingyao and Chinese art and culture in North America, according to an agreement signed on May 28.

The two sides will establish an international association, collaborating to disseminate Chinese culture around the world, and promote Pingyao as a historical site and tourist hot spot.

"The partnership will benefit the development of culture and tourism in Shanxi, and expand Shanxi's overseas tourism market," said Jia Juguang, vice-chairman of the Sanjin Culture Society.

The Pingyao International Painting Communication Center is a non-profit platform for painting collection, culture and tourism promotion, as well as arts communication in the county.

The Canada-China Cooperation Association for Industrial Development is a subsidiary of Canada's Maple Bridge International Culture and Tourism Group founded by Canadian-Chinese Zhuang Wei. The group provides various services, such as tour guidance, educational training and Canada-China inbound tour services for other travel agencies.
